Large crowds expected at Healy-Rae funeral

The former Independent TD Jackie Healy-Rae will be laid to rest today in his native Kerry.

The veteran politician passed away on Friday afternoon at the age of 83, following a short illness.

His burial will take place following Requiem Mass at midday in St Patrick's Church, Kilgarvan.

Large crowds are expected to attend the funeral.
