Gardaí investigate robbery of cash-in-transit van in Drogheda

Gardaí are investigating after a robbery on a cash-in-transit van in Drogheda, Co Louth.

It happened at around 4.15pm at a supermarket on the Donore Road.

A masked man approached on foot and demanded money - he then escaped with an undisclosed sum of cash.

Gardaí in Drogheda are appealing for witnesses.
