A man being questioned about the murders of Eoin O'Connor and Anthony Keegan has been released without charge.

A man being questioned about the murders of Eoin O'Connor and Anthony Keegan has been released without charge.

The bodies of the two men in their 30s were discovered on an island in Lough Sheelin, Co Meath in May, more than a month after they were reported missing.

The man in his 50s was arrested yesterday and taken to Kells Garda station for questioning.

However, he has now been released and gardaí say investigations are on-going.

It was the third arrest in the case.
