More than £40m sterling (€50.5m) worth of cocaine has been seized in the UK in a joint operation between Gardaí, the National Crime Agency and the Border Force.

The cocaine was seized at Portsmouth port, England, yesterday when a cargo vessel, the Star Stratos, was searched.
