Man in hospital after fire in Dublin

A man in his 60's has been taken to hospital after a fire in Dublin.

The alarm was raised at a flat on Montague Street at around 4.30am this morning.

It is believed the man was hospitalised for treatment for the effects of smoke inhalation.

An investigation is underway into the cause of the fire, however Gardaí are not treating it as suspicious.
