Minister urges teacher unions to reconsider strike

The Education Minister Jan O'Sullivan has urged teachers' unions to reconsider a strike planned for next week.

Secondary teachers represented by the ASTI and TUI unions are due to begin industrial action next Tuesday after they were asked to grade their own students for Junior Cert exams.
