Six people becoming homeless every day, warns campaigner

The Government has been urged to introduce rent controls or increase rent allowance to stop driving tenants into homelessness.

Campaigner for the homeless, Fr Peter McVerry, said rent controls are necessary to ensure that the market retains an element of affordability.
