Two held after gun seized in Tallaght

Two men have been arrested after a handgun was seized in Dublin last night.

They were detained after Gardai stopped and searched a car on the Tallaght bypass at around 10pm.

One man in his late teens and another in his early 20s were taken to Tallaght Garda station for questioning.

They are being held under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
