Man, 18, charged over Kerry car chase

An 18-year-old has appeared in court in Tralee, Co Kerry, charged in connection with a car chase between Kenmare and Farranfore in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Mark O' Callaghan of Ballyspillane in Killarney was charged with three counts of dangerous driving.

He is also facing charges in relation to burglary and theft of a car.

Judge James O' Connor remanded him in custody to appear before Killarney District Court on December 2.
