Man arrested over Tallaght death

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a man in his early 20s in connection with the death of a man in Tallaght earlier this year.

Michael Devoy's body was found at Foxhill in Bohernabreena in Tallaght on January 18. The 42-year-old from Ballymun had been shot dead.

Gardaí on patrol in the area had come across a silver car on the Foxhill road, which took off at high speed when they stopped to investigate. After the car's escape, gardaí returned to the scene to discover the body.

Earlier today Gardaí arrested a man as part of their investigation. He is being detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Tallaght Garda Station.
