Kenny: Government to make statement on water charges next week

The Taoiseach Enda Kenny said the Government will make a statement next week to restore clarity and confidence on water charges.

Speaking on his way into a Cabinet meeting the Taoiseach added the Government will make decisions next week.

“Government will make its statement next week on this,” said Kenny.

“It is a case having listened very carefully to people, having acknowledged that things weren’t done in all cases the way they should have been and move on from there.”
