Security alert over suspicious object in Lurgan

A security alert is under way after the discovery of a suspicious object in County Armagh.

It was found in a fast food restaurant on Union Street, Lurgan, at around 10.30pm tonight.

British Army bomb disposal experts are at the scene and a controlled explosion is being carried out.

The road has been closed and diversions are in place.
