Woman missing in Kerry mountains

A search operation is underway for a missing walker in the Kerry mountains.

Its understood the woman herself raised the alarm after she got lost while walking on Mangerton Mountain earlier this evening.

A number of volunteers are involved in the operation but poor visibility is said to be hampering search efforts.
