Research shows elevated autism risk among children born by C-section
New research has shown that babies born by Caesarean section are 23% more likely to develop Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
However, the authors of the report have urged caution on the findings, stressing that the link between C-sections and children developing ASD remains unclear and that more research is needed.
