Around 800 people are expected to gather in Belfast later for a memorial service for the late Ian Paisley.

The founder of the Democratic Unionist Party died last month at the age of 88 after a long illness.

A service will be held at Ulster Hall in Belfast at 3pm.

Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern, along with his Fianna Fáil colleagues Mary Hanafin and Éamon Ó Cuív are expected to attend, as well as the North's Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness and the First Minister Peter Robinson.
