Young man killed in Longford crash

A 19-year-old man has been killed in a car crash in Co Longford.

The man died when the car he was driving left the road and struck a barrier at Lisbrack, Newtownforbes at around 2.15am.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses who may have been on the road between 2am and 2.30am to contact Longford Garda Station.
