Jack and Jill Foundation founder Irwin to run in next general election

The founder of the Jack and Jill Foundation Jonathan Irwin has announced his intention to contest the next general election as an Independent.

Irwin made the announcement at the launch of his book in Dublin this afternoon.

He will contest the election in Kildare South and is calling on Independents around the country to make themselves heard.

Mr Irwin added the political parties have let themselves and the people down.
