Gardaí arrest man after finding 500 cannabis plants

Gardaí in Co. Westmeath have seized €400,000 worth of cannabis.

Officers discovered 500 cannabis plants when they searched a premises in Rathgarrett, Tyrellspass this morning.

One man in his 30s has been arrested.

He is being questioned at Mullingar Garda Station.
