Man remanded on drugs charges in Dublin

A man has appeared in court charged in connection with the seizure of more than €500,000 worth of drugs on the northside.

Christopher Geraghty of Oldtown Avenue, Santry was arrested after Gardaí raided his home yesterday afternoon.

The 44-year-old is charged with possession of more than €500,000 worth of cocaine and the more serious charge of having the drugs for sale or supply.

There was no application for bail today and the 44-year-old was remanded in custody for a week.
