Gardaí arrest man in his 60s in social welfare fraud probe

A man has been arrested in Co Mayo, as part of an investigation into substantial social welfare fraud.

Gardaí say the 68-year-old was detained in Castlebar.

He is expected to appear before Castlebar District Court within the next few hours.
