Ploughing Championships 2015 announced for Laois

The National Ploughing Championships is set to return to Ratheniska Co Laois in 2015, for the third time.

The site has proved popular for several reasons, including its central location and surrounding road and rail network.

Attendance figures for this year's ploughing were record breaking, at just under 280,000 - it marks the most successful event in its history.

The National Ploughing Championships return next year from September 22 – 24.
