Council warns of flooding due to rain and 'astronomical high tide' in Cork
Business and home owners in Cork city are being warned of possible tidal flooding tomorrow.
Cork City Council has issued a flood alert for 5.50am tomorrow morning and at 6.17pm tomorrow evening.
The council says the heavy rain forecast, along with a predicted storm surge and what it is calling astronomical high tides, may cause flooding in the city's streets.
It is warning business and home owners around Morrison Quay, Sharman Crawford Street and Wandesford Quay to take precautions.
