Defence Minister approves continuing Irish deployment in Golan heights

Irish troops are to remain on the Golan Heights.

The Defence Minister told the Dáil that the 133 Irish soldiers deployed on a UNDOF mission on the border between Syria and Israel will continue to serve there.
