Man dies in Drogheda crash

A man has died following a collision in Drogheda.

The two vehicle crash, involving a motorcycle and a tractor, happened at Tullyard on the Ballymakenny Road at approximately 5.40pm.

A 39-year-old man was fatally injured when his motorcycle collided with a tractor. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

The driver of the tractor was uninjured.

The stretch of road is currently closed while gardaí examine the scene.
