Councillors meet on Poolbeg incinerator, but are powerless to stop it

Dublin City Council meets this evening for a meeting on the future of the controversial Poolbeg Incinerator.

The majority of city councillors oppose the multi million euro facility – but they have no power to overturn the decision of the council chief executive to green light the project, which has cost over €100m so far.
