Over 110,000 cigarettes seized in Dublin

114,000 cigarettes, with a retail value of around €55,000, have been seized by Revenue Customs officers in Dublin.

It follows the search of a property in the city centre earlier today during an intelligence led operation.

It is understood the cigarettes - including brands of Septwolves, Hanghe, Eight, Hongtashar, Shuangxi and Jinsheig- were imported from China in a concealment in light fittings.
