Man arrested after gardaí seize €80,000 worth of cannabis

A man has been arrested after gardaí seized €80,000 worth of cannabis in Roscommon.

More than 100 cannabis plants were found during a planned search at a house near Castlerea yesterday evening.

A 25-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is being questioned at Roscommon garda station.

He can be held for up to 24 hours.
