Man dead, seven injured, in Carlow crash

A man has died and seven people are injured in a two-car crash in Co. Carlow.

It happened on the Carlow-to- Bagenalstown Road near Milford this evening.

Seven other people have been taken to hospital for treatment, three of which are said to be in a serious condition.

The stretch of road is currently closed, and diversions are in place.
