Beach in Cork closed after heavy rain; Met Eireann issues weather warning

A beach in Cork is the latest to close because of poor water quality, as Met Eireann issues a warning that more rain is on the way.

The latest beach closure is Garryvoe Beach in east Cork, after heavy rain caused run-off from surrounding hinterland bringing "elevated levels of bacteria" into the water.
