Dublin Airport fast-track passport service leads to delays

Passengers arriving at Dublin Airport passport control outside of business hours face long queues.

It is because civil servants who monitor the electronic self-service passport checks, only work 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

The programme was set up to fast track EU passengers, however it has resulted in long delays outside of office hours, and a flurry of complaints to the DAA.
