Family pleads for help in releasing Irish citizen jailed for more than a year in Egypt

The Minister for Foreign Affairs Charlie Flanagan is being urged to request the release of an Irish citizen who is in jail in Egypt.

Ibrahim Halawa has now been in custody in Cairo for over a year, after being arrested during a protest last August.
