Woman dies in Mayo crash

A woman in her 20s has been killed in a single vehicle crash in Co Mayo.

It happened on the N17 at Lurga, Charlestown between 7.30am and 8am.

The car she was driving collided with a lamppost and a pillar.

A post mortem will be carried out at Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar.

There are traffic restrictions in place at the scene.
