EuroMillions collected in Waterford

A Waterford woman has picked up half-a-million euros which she won in last Friday’s EuroMillions Plus draw.

She bought the three euro quick pick in Dunphy’s Castle Shop on the Cork Road in Waterford on Friday, the day of the draw, and forgot about it.

The woman found the ticket at the bottom of her handbag yesterday and checked the numbers before travelling to Dublin to collect her winnings today.
