Gardaí charge man in connection with €70k cannabis seizure

Gardaí have seized €70,000 worth of cannabis plants in Co Roscommon.

They have also arrested and charged a 26-year-old man in the intelligence-led operation.

Gardaí from the Roscommon/Longford Divisional Drug Unit searched the house in Fourmile House, Co. Roscommon on Friday and found 87 cannabis plants in the house.

The man appeared before Sligo District Court on Saturday, where he was remanded in custody and will appear before Harristown Distict Court on Friday.
