Local resident Robbie Cousins said five nights were just not viable.

"We met with Croke Park and Aiken Promotions after they announced the five concerts, and it was a heated night. We said this was never going to work, but they went ahead and applied," he said.

"It's such a huge ask for this city to host these concerts. I don't know what's going to play out from here, but this was never sustainable; it was never going to work."
