State will not pay Fitzpatrick legal costs in Anglo case, judge rules

A judge has ruled the State will not have to pay the legal costs of former Anglo Irish Bank chairman, Sean FitzPatrick.

An application by his legal team that he should not be liable for costs arising from his recent criminal trial was rejected this afternoon by Judge Martin Nolan.
