The Government is being urged to listen to the advice of frontline staff who have expressed serious concern over the clinical management of the Carlow-Kilkenny / South Tipperary mental health services.

It emerged at the weekend that nine consultant psychiatrists withdrew confidence in the clinical management of the mental health services there, in a letter to Minister with responsibility for mental health Kathleen Lynch last year.
