A woman from Co Wexford has been found not guilty of murdering her partner by reason of insanity.

Caroline Roche from Ballyedmond, Monamolin attacked Walter Plunkett at his home in 2012.

The jury at the Central Criminal Court reached the verdict after 24 minutes of deliberations.

It had heard that the accused woman suffered from Schizoaffective disorder for many years.
