Minister: Investigation into Mother and Baby homes before summer recess

The Minister for Children said he wants the Commission of Investigation into Mother and Baby Homes set up before the Dail goes into summer recess.

Charlie Flanagan has been giving an update on progress made so far, including the setting up of a special email address for submissions.

The Minister is urging organisations and individuals who wish to make submissions on which institution should be included, to do so as quickly as possible.

Minister Flanagan also says he will meet key advocacy groups and have further meetings with other political parties in the next couple of weeks, to move the commission forward.
