South Dublin Co Council workers plan strike

Two one-day strikes are planned by South Dublin County Council workers later this month.

The row is over pay cuts being imposed by management at the local authority.

"It relates to decisions … to remove pay from a number of senior staff," said Peter Nolan, IMPACT's National Secretary, "and also our concerns that this will apply to another 150 staff further down the line."

Staff will down tools on June 24 and 26.
