The Catholic Archbishop of Dublin says he wants to see all mother-and-baby homes investigated by an independent commission of inquiry with full judicial powers.

Diarmuid Martin's comments, broadcast on RTÉ yesterday, come after reports that up to 800 infants and children are buried in a mass grave in the grounds of a convent run by the Bon Secours order of nuns in Tuam, Co Galway.
