Two motorcyclists killed in Clare

Two male motorcyclists have died following a crash in County Clare.

The two motorbikes collided just outside Lisdoonvarna on the Ennistymon road at around 6.45pm.

Both men were fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene.

A female pillion passenger was taken to Galway University Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

The road is closed while Gardaí carry out a technical examination and diversions are in place.
