Siptu head: Labour must stay in Govt to stop 'one-sided austerity'
The President of Ireland's largest trade union has said Labour should remain in Government.
Jack O'Connor of Siptu says it is vital there is a voice in Cabinet to challenge austerity.
Also a member of the Labour Party, he says Ireland has had enough of what he calls "one-sided cuts".
He also says the party can achieve more by being part of the coalition rather than walking away to leave the prospect of a government made up of Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil, "or something worse".
