A 60-year-old man has appeared in court in Wexford in connection with a stabbing in New Ross on Thursday night.

A 60-year-old man has appeared in court in Wexford in connection with a stabbing in New Ross on Thursday night.

He appeared at Gorey court last night.

A 34-year-old man remains in a serious but stable condition at Waterford University Hospital following the attack on Grange Road.
