Deadline approaching for Hanafin to withdraw from elections

Former Minister Mary Hanafin has until noon today to withdraw as a local election candidate for Fianna Fáil in Blackrock in Dublin.

It comes after the party did a u-turn over the weekend on a decision to ask her to run.
