Banking inquiry to begin next week

The Cabinet has confirmed this lunchtime that the banking inquiry will get under way next week, and Labour's Ciaran Lynch will chair the inquiry.

The Government Chief Whip Paul Kehoe will move the motion in the Dail on Tuesday, with the inquiry to be established immediately afterwards.
