Council asked to rename street due to reputation of Priory Hall

Dublin City Council has been asked to change the name of a northside street because it has "Priory" in the title.

It is believed that "Priory Street" in Clongriffin has negative associations because of its similarity to the condemned apartment complex Priory Hall.

A decision on whether to change the name to Park Street will be made at a council meeting next week.
