Teenage drowning victim named

A teenager who died after jumping into a Dublin reservoir yesterday has been named locally as Shane Boggans from Tallaght.

The 16-year-old went into the water at Bohernabreena at around 2.30pm yesterday and got into difficulty a short time later.

Emergency services were called to the scene and the body of the sixth year student was recovered from the water at around 5pm.
