The Dáil will today hear proposals to allow TV and radio stations broadcast a wider range of material which may cause offence to certain members of the public.

Independent TD Stephen Donnelly is suggesting changes, following the recent 'Pantigate' affair which led to some concern that broadcasters are not able to give equal weight to both sides in contentious debates.
