Woman released from questioning without charge over Offaly girl's murder

Gardaí have released a woman they were questioning about the murder of an 11-year-old girl in County Offaly.

Emily Barut was found dead at her home on Bachelors Walk in Tullamore on September 15, 2012.

A woman in her 50s was arrested yesterday morning under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

She was released from Tullamore Garda station last night without charge, and a file is to be sent to the DPP.
